If you know me, you know I love a beautiful library. Well, really any library at all. One of the first things I did after arriving in Stuttgart was start looking at and reading about their public libraries. There is a small one near our apartment, but nothing to write home about. This place, however, is magnificent. And, I had the whole place to myself! It’s called the Stadtbibliothek or City Library. There is a contemplation room on the first floor where all guests and readers begin their journey into the space. The library is located in the Mailander Platz, just north of downtown.
